Who we are

Kinderuntersuchungsheft is an iOS app built by Leonardo Cardoso, based in Berlin, Germany. For privacy questions, write to leo+kinderuntersuchungsheft@leocardz.com. Full legal contact is in the imprint.

The short version

We do not run a server. We do not collect data. Apple's App Privacy label for Kinderuntersuchungsheft is "Data Not Collected."

What stays on your device

Everything you enter — your children, their examinations, vaccinations, growth measurements, notes, and attached documents — is stored in SwiftData on your iPhone. It never leaves your device except through the two Apple services below, which you control.

iCloud sync

If you are signed into iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, SwiftData syncs the app's data through the CloudKit private database of your Apple ID. Apple encrypts this data end-to-end between your devices. We never see it and cannot access it.

You can turn iCloud sync off for the app at any time in iOS Settings → Apple ID → iCloud.

Local notifications

Exam reminders are delivered by iOS on your device using UNUserNotificationCenter. No push servers are involved, no tokens leave your phone, and we do not send anything to Apple's push infrastructure on your behalf.

Third parties

There are none.

Children

The app is designed to help parents manage their child's health records. It is used by parents, not by children directly. Since the app does not collect any data on our servers, no personal information of children is transmitted to us at any point.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page updates. The app keeps linking to this URL, so whatever is here is current.
