Who is behind the app
Kinderuntersuchungsheft is built and maintained by Leonardo Cardoso, based in Berlin, Germany. Full legal contact details are in the imprint. For anything related to these terms, write to leo+kinderuntersuchungsheft@leocardz.com.
What the app is and what it is not
Kinderuntersuchungsheft is a digital companion to the paper Kinderuntersuchungsheft issued by the German Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss (G-BA). It mirrors the fields of the booklet so you can keep a parallel record on your iPhone, set reminders for upcoming checkups, and track vaccinations against the STIKO schedule.
The app is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not a replacement for your pediatrician. It does not provide medical advice. The paper booklet your Kinderarzt stamps and signs remains the legal record. Always follow the instructions of your pediatrician and the current STIKO recommendations.
Kinderuntersuchungsheft is not affiliated with the Gemeinsamer Bundesausschuss, the Robert Koch-Institut, the Ständige Impfkommission (STIKO), or any German health authority.
Data accuracy
The STIKO schedule encoded in the app reflects the current recommendations at the time of each release. Recommendations can change. Always verify dates and doses with your pediatrician before acting on them. You are responsible for what you enter and for acting on it.
Acceptable use
The license to use the app is personal and non-transferable. Do not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or attempt to extract the app's data beyond your own device. Do not share records of other people's children without their consent.
Availability
The app runs entirely on your device. There is no server I operate, so there is nothing I can "take down." iCloud sync depends on Apple's CloudKit availability, which is outside my control.
Refunds
Kinderuntersuchungsheft is a one-time purchase from the Apple App Store. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store refund policy. I do not process refunds directly.
Changes
If these terms change, the date at the top updates. The app keeps linking to this URL, so whatever is here is current.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you reside still apply. If you believe something here is unfair or unclear, write to leo+kinderuntersuchungsheft@leocardz.com and I will look at it.
